Summer Happenings!

So, I have been bad and not posted in awhile. Our lives have been very busy over the last few months.
First of all, here is a picture of our new family member. Her name is Molly and she is 10 weeks old.

She is a handful and we are loving every minute.
Our older kid, Rusty is handling her very well. I think he in enjoying have a little sister.

He is putting up with baby jaws like a real trooper.

So, here are some pictures of some wonderful projects that have come into the store over the last few months.

This is a vest done out of Southwest Trading company's Soy Silk, and Broadway mohair from Artful yarns

This is a sweet little dress made from Reynolds Santana yarn.

This is a hooded sweater made out of Santana.

This is a baby sweater and pair of socks made from Classic Elite's Premiere and Flash yarns.

Alright, next up is my favorite new addition to the shop.
Everyone, meet Russell the Sheep. He appeared last week via UPS and was sent by my wonderful mother-in-law. He is life size and adorable.
Thank you Fran.

Now, summer is slow for some people, but kudos to Mindy for making July finishing month. This is a picture of her assembling her Frisky sweater!

Early in June, on one Saturday morning, we decided to do some spontaneous dyeing.
Sara and Mary were our dyeing leaders that day, and some beautiful yarn came out of the mix.

We are now in the last few days of July, and August is 2 days away.
What does this mean, do you ask?
It means that over the next month the new fall yarn will be arriving.
I am very excited for fall. We have some new companies coming in, and some great lines of yarn coming from our existing companies.
