Cincinnati Knitting Shop
I just finished up a Cascade Magnum hooded poncho. I will get a photo up shortly.
Knitting is popping up all over the media. I am amazed. I am seeing articles from Washington to Vermont. Here is just a sampling of my favorite articles.

Part of the appeal of knitting is that no mistake is permanent. You can rip it up and start over. Part of the appeal for Chinni and Nicole is staying inside instead of braving whatever winter is dishing out on the playground.

Lizzy Malouf set a copy of Stitch 'N Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook by Debbie Stoller and a few skeins of brightly colored yarn on the knitting circle table.

"Knitting has a new image," Malouf said, citing new patterns available for punk rock accessories. "It's not the traditional, wholesome activity anymore."

And while it may still be an unfamiliar fad to the majority of Penn students, due to its increasing popularity -- as evidenced by knit clothing and the growing list of celebrity knitters, including Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz and Charlotte on Sex and the City -- knitting is slowly but surely establishing its popularity.

A dare brought three Eaton Rapids Middle School boys to an after-school knitting group and now more boys than girls are clicking knitting needles together.
